The Low Carbon Contracts Company developed the HES to centralise metered data collection from renewable energy generators — across CfD, hydrogen, and other schemes — into a single, compliant platform.

Connecting to it isn't straightforward
Generators need to expose compliant data via the Edge API — which means standardising SCADA output, meeting strict accuracy and timestamp requirements, and staying audit-ready across multiple schemes. That's where third-party integrators come in.
