Three conversations that changed the KUDO Platform

Every software company says they listen to customers.
The difference is what happens after the conversation. Too often, ideas disappear into a backlog, feature requests are forgotten, and months later you’re still working around the same problem.
At KUDO, we try to do things differently. Here are three conversations that directly shaped the platform.
“Your competitors already do this.”
We were demonstrating the platform to a prospective client when they pointed out something we were missing.
Our Access and Egress process worked well, but it didn’t include QR Code Access, a feature they had come to expect from another provider.
They were right.
The feedback was logged, reviewed and prioritised. A short time later, QR Code Access became part of the KUDO Platform, making site access faster and more convenient for everyone.
“Keeping on top of regulatory compliance is becoming a job in itself.”
One of our customers told us they needed a better way to track compliance activities, manage deadlines and make sure nothing slipped through the cracks.
So we started building Trackers.
What began as a simple conversation has grown into a flexible feature that helps teams monitor key activities, receive reminders and keep important compliance information all in one place.
“Inductions aren’t our problem.”
During the onboarding of a new client, we assumed we’d be talking about inductions.
Instead, they explained that what they really needed was a way to manage workforce certificates, ensuring people held the right qualifications and competencies before carrying out jobs.
So that’s what we built.
The Certificate Management module allows organisations to upload, verify and manage certificates alongside the rest of their workforce information, assigned to sites or assets, giving them confidence that the right people are carrying out the right work.
Software should evolve with the people using it
None of these features were sitting on a long-term roadmap waiting for the “right time.”
They came from real conversations with real people facing real operational challenges.
Our Customer Success team doesn’t just support customers, they work closely with our development team to make sure valuable ideas are reviewed, prioritised and turned into features that benefit everyone using the platform.
Their job is to listen, and when a good idea comes along, it get’s built.
If these conversations sound familiar, you're probably facing some of the same operational challenges our customers were.
