Writer's picture: Mason Adam Mason Adam

Meet Mason Adam, one of our Business Development Managers here at KUDO. Mason brings a wealth of experience from his background in sales and recruitment, making him a fantastic addition to the team.

We asked Mason a few questions to learn more about his journey and what makes him tick, both professionally and personally.

What was your career path?

My career path started in sales, where I developed strong communication and negotiation skills. This experience laid a solid foundation for my next move into recruitment within the construction industry, where I could use my sales background to match talented individuals with the right job opportunities. It was a rewarding experience that taught me the importance of understanding people's skills and aspirations. I am now beginning my role at KUDO where I can use my previous experience to excel in the world of business development.

What is an after-work hobby of yours?

In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym to stay active and healthy, as fitness is important to me. I love spending time with my son, engaging in different activities like playing sports or exploring new places together. I also enjoy socialising with friends watching sports, especially football, MMA, boxing, and darts.

What is a fun fact about you?

One fun fact about me is that I have one leg that's slightly longer than the other. It's something unique about me that I've embraced over time, I could have had it sorted out when I was 16, but I really didn’t want to waste my summer being bed bound!

What do you enjoy most about working for KUDO?

I’m still very early doors but so far, it’s the team culture. Everyone here is so supportive and willing to help each other out. We are all working towards our goals together, and there's a great sense of unity and teamwork that makes coming to work a positive and motivating experience.

What is the best career advice you have received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to never give up. This advice has helped me stay resilient and positive throughout my career.

What’s an accomplishment in or out of work that you’re proud of?

My son always makes me proud. Being a parent and watching him grow gives me an immense sense of pride.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I’d like to travel all around South America, I’m honestly not even sure why, it’s just somewhere I’d like to go and explore.
